Digital Mammography
Digital Mammography is currentlythe best screening tool to detect breast cancer. Its ability to improve image quality witha lower compression force and less radiation allows the patient to have a more comfortable experience than conventional mammography. Much like digital photography, digital mammographycan be enhanced and viewed instantly reducing the exam and turnaround time for results.

The ACR (American College of Radiology) and the ACS (American Cancer Society) recommend yearly mammograms in conjunction with BSE's (Breast Self Exams) and CBE's (clinical breast exams) for all women 40 and older as long as they are in good health.

In addition to digital mammography we offer; 3D Mammography (Tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound, ultrasound guided breast biopsy, stereotactic breast biopsy and MRI breast imaging and guided breast biopsy as needed.
