Vascular & Interventional Radiology
Vascular & Interventional Radiology
The Vascular and Interventional Radiology Division of RRC, consists of three board-certified and fellowship trained physicians who diagnose and treat many medical conditions using catheters or other small devices with the aid of imaging technology such as x-ray, ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). These medical procedures are often used in lieu of traditional surgery and performed through a small skin incision using local anesthesia and sedation. Benefits include less pain, a shorter recovery time, and less time in the hospital.
Patient consultation, diagnostic testing, procedures, and follow up visits are done at MRI of Reston, Reston Hospital Center, Department of Radiology, and the Medical Imaging Center of Reston on the hospital campus. To schedule appointments or for more information, call 703-689-9234.
